Gaming Sleepover Heaven

My favorite activity growing up was weekend sleepovers with friends. Staying up late, eating tons of junk and playing video games for hours on end was an awesome way to spend a night with your buddies from school. But now, as a married couple and full time students it seems as though those fun filled nights are over. Or are they??

Welcome to the Family, Xbox!

We’ve been holding out for a while on the buying an Xbox front. Trying to justify yet another console has been tough, but eventually my need to collect and Tony’s curiosity won over the logical portions of our brains. We were waiting for a sale in order to get both the Kinect and system for around 240, so when Best Buy had a sale we couldn’t resist!

the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, and Nintendo

Tony and I saw so much on our European adventure, and after a week of being home were finally getting back into routine of blogging and trying to catch up on all the cool things we saw while we were away. My absolute favorite stop in Paris was the Louvre, the biggest museum I have ever witnessed. In the 5 hours we spent we only saw about a quarter of what it had to offer. Crazy!

I’m a HUUUGE fan of roleplaying: I’ve been in countless plays and musicals, I gravitate towards RPG video games, and am regularly a half-elf alchemist or gnome druid in Dungeons and Dragons campaigns with my other RPG loving friends. And while I haven’t done much of it, I love watching live action role playing, especially when it is incorporated into tourist attractions.
