Gaming Sleepover Heaven

21 Jul

My favorite activity growing up was weekend sleepovers with friends. Staying up late, eating tons of junk and playing video games for hours on end was an awesome way to spend a night with your buddies from school. But now, as a married couple and full time students it seems as though those fun filled nights are over. Or are they??

get all those sexual innuendos out of your heads now … dirty minds.

Welcome to the Family, Xbox!

6 Jul

We’ve been holding out for a while on the buying an Xbox front. Trying to justify yet another console has been tough, but eventually my need to collect and Tony’s curiosity won over the logical portions of our brains. We were waiting for a sale in order to get both the Kinect and system for around 240, so when Best Buy had a sale we couldn’t resist!

FFWWEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, and Nintendo

4 Jul

Tony and I saw so much on our European adventure, and after a week of being home were finally getting back into routine of blogging and trying to catch up on all the cool things we saw while we were away. My absolute favorite stop in Paris was the Louvre, the biggest museum I have ever witnessed. In the 5 hours we spent we only saw about a quarter of what it had to offer. Crazy!

More fun while chillin’ in Europe – this time Amsterdam (which was awesome, btw – definitely could live there).

Between our adventures, I found the following t-shirt in an H&M store. Being a geek is cool now, didn’t you know? Continue reading

Assassins Creed Climbing is Totally Realistic

18 Jun

So I’ve been playing Assassins Creed a lot lately.

In Europe playing PS3 – I’ve got quite a double chin for a skinny guy.

And I’ve been thinking… man, Ezio makes that shit look so easy. Climbing walls? Yeah right, like there are that many ledges and little things to grab.

But here I am in Europe, and yeah, it really does look like that. So I had to try it myself…

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted, but my life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately, with dance, work, and getting ready for our European vacation (yes, it’s okay to be jealous). We have been in Belgium for a week now, and are finally getting back into the swing of things. One thing that HASN’T changed, however, is the gaming. With all this new found downtime, it has been fantastic catching up on some games!

please don’t judge the pyjamas or the posture. It is vacation, after all.
